5 World Ocean Celebrations organized with Blue Scholars Initiative with an estimated overall attendance of 7500 attendees, 345 students engaged in workshops, coordinated 800+ volunteers, 37 partners organizations engaged, collected and disposed 2,189 pounds of trash, removed 30+ cubic yards of invasive Scaevola taccada, and planted 200+ sea oats (Uniola paniculata) and 110 other natives.

Sheroes of the Ocean: 31 amazing women from Japan to Estonia, Mexico, Russia, Brazil and the US, includes artists, cultural producers, marine biologists, environmentalists, oceanographers, and activists who have devoted their lives to comprehending, safeguarding, and preserving our oceans.
